New York University (NYU)
New York University (NYU) is a major private research university located in New York City, founded in 1831 by Albert Gallatin. ts main campus is in Greenwich Village (Lower Manhattan), but NYU also has degree-granting campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, plus many global academic centers worldwide.
Academically, NYU offers a very broad range of programs — from its well-known Tisch School of the Arts (film, theatre) to the Stern School of Business, engineering, law, public service, nursing, and more. It’s known for being globally engaged, both in its student body and its research footprint.
Student life at NYU is deeply integrated with New York City: students live, work, and study in an urban, high-energy environment. Because of its size and reach, NYU offers a lot in terms of internships, cultural experiences, and networking.
