Pepperdine University
Near East University (NEU), founded in 1988, is located in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It is a large private institution that serves as a major educational and cultural hub in the region, with a modern, well-designed campus featuring a wide variety of academic, research, and social facilities.
NEU’s academic structure is comprehensive: it has 20 faculties, 220 departments, 8 graduate schools, 4 vocational schools, and 28–32 research institutes (depending on the source).The university offers both Turkish- and English-taught programs, making it accessible to a diverse international population.
On the research and infrastructure side, NEU is notable for its supercomputer center, which supports advanced computing tasks and has participated in large-scale research projects.
